A message from the Chief Executive Officer- COVID 19 Update – November 2, 2021
Dear Valued CINICO Member,
Like many other institutions throughout the Cayman Islands, the Cayman Islands National Insurance Company (CINICO) has been impacted by the recent increase in COVID-19 cases. Unanticipated staff shortages due to isolation requirements for some of our employees, along with downtime for PCR testing, have led us to implement aspects of our COVID 19 plan that will impact how we interact with you, our members. As a result, our Cayman Brac office will be closed until further notice, and access to our main offices in Grand Cayman will be restricted to no more than two clients in the reception waiting area at any given time. Please note that there will be strict enforcement of the requirement for masks, sanitization upon entry and social distancing. Our office will be open to the public from 9am to 3pm Monday through Friday until further notice.
We would like to encourage you to take advantage of our online payment options, as well as to remind you of alternate payment and drop off options available to you during this period of adjustment:
1. Cheque payment/document drop off can be accepted via our drop box, located outside the main entrance on the 1st Floor of our Cayman Centre location on Airport Road.
2. Other payment options include Electronic Funds Transfer, as well as Bill Payee with Cayman National Bank (CNB); Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) and Bank of Butterfield. Over the counter payments can be made at CNB.
When making payment via any means, please remember to include the following information, or there may be a delay in processing of your payment:
1. Correct account name e.g. John Smith
2. Correct 9-digit member ID (as shown on your CINICO ID card)
