CBCA

The Cayman Island Government expects, as a result of its long term relationship of over five years with CBCA Administrators, Inc. (CBCA), that the program will continue to be well managed through a centralized insurance framework.  CBCA has, over the last three years, focused its energies on becoming an Employee Service Organization, which includes its core services of healthcare claims management, member services and network management, along with a very robust capability in human resource management and commercial financial management.

CBCA is independently owned with a track record of measurable positive deliverables.  CBCA combines proven strategies, integrated service applications and automated processes to create single source effective healthcare benefit plan management.  CBCA can be summarized as follows:

  • Operating throughout the United States and the Cayman Islands with a SAS70 audit certification.
  • CBCA has staff located in Columbus, Ohio (Corporate offices), Bloomington, Minnesota, Ft. Worth, Texas, Maumee, Ohio, and Savannah, Georgia.
  • CBCA’s tenured Claims Analyst and Customer Service team provide world class adjudication and call center services for medical, dental, and flexible spending accounts (FSA’s).
  • CBCA’s URAC accredited Care Management partners offer a patient-centric approach to identify potential gaps in care through early intervention and wellness management.  These principal based programs can yield a significant return on investment.
  • Paying more than US$450,000,000 in “self-insured” claims each year for various types of clients, including hospital systems, airlines, defense contractors, etc.
  • Web-based benefit informatic tools including on demand reporting to analyze claim cost trends for predictive modeling.
  • Operating a fully integrated telephony system that delivers live, automated voice response, and web based service to members and providers including an electronic summary of the member’s individual coverage.
